L. A. X. is Glenn Alexander, Dave LaRue& Steve Loecher. This uniquely powerful sound is burnin Rock - n - Roll with a Southern Rock and super charged Blues influence. It is a power trio of three world class musicians pulling together diverse influences, with vocals, musical prowess, written from the heart and played with integrity. The music is a mix of early influences such as ZZ Top, Allman Bros., Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Dixie Dregs. Each member draws on his unique palette to help ceate the L.A.X. sound. Kansas native Alexander digs down into midwestern roots and home town influences like the Jerry Hahn Brotherhood and Mike Finnigan. LaRue draws on his tenure with The Steve Morse Band and The Dixie Dregs. They toured Australia in 1996 and besides having a blast, received rave reviews.

Dave LaRue -- bass

Dave LaRue has had two Grammy nominations with the Dixie Dregs with whom he's been recording and touring for the last several years. He has also been busy recording and touring the world with the Steve Morse Band and Pat Travers. In addition, Dave is a national clinician for the Ernie Ball/MusicMan company. He is also a regular columnist and member of the advisory board for Bass Player magazine and has released worldwide, an instructional video for REH/Warner Bros. He has placed near the top in readers polls in both Bass player and Guitar Player magazine from 1993 til present. In addition to 5 Steve Morse Band recordings and 3 Dixie Dregs albums, LaRue has released a solo record entitled "Hub City Kid" and has performed and or recorded with Bruce Hornsby, The Hellacasters, Tommy Lee and Vince Neil (Motley Crüe), Steve Lukather, Mike Stern, Andy Timmons, Albert Lee, Vinnie Moore, Rik Emmett (Triumph) and Ace Frehley (Kiss).
